It’s probably hay-fever and the antihistamines that are to blame, but I have to say, I’m feeling tired today – mind and body.
Happily though, the garden is carrying on, doing its own thing, not bothering if I turn up to poke it or prod it – just as well.
I shall go and have another nap – and hope the fairies sprinkle energy-dust over me while I’m dreaming.
x.
Sorry to hear you’re lacking your usual bounce. I think we need to adopt the Spanish siesta and not feel guilty about taking time out to have a bit of a rest now and then. Beautiful flowers, what’s the first one? It’s really pretty.
Would you believe it’s just the flower on the chives – taken very close-up – pretty isn’t it.
It must be in the air, I nodded off this afternoon at work….but its my company so I can tell myself off 🙂
I remember getting quite cross when my mum used to have an afternoon nap – now I understand why she did it!
Wish my roses looked as healthy as yours… hope you feel better soon.
Roses are the one flower I really do wish I could grow well – I’ve been to garden trade exhibitions and practically drooled over the David Austin roses – one day perhaps…
Not only doing its own thing but doing it beautifully 😀
Oops, the ‘feel better’ disappeared … hope you get your bounce back soon x
Thank you – on the mend now. x
Wow, lovely photos of gorgeous blooms. Sorry you’re feeling under the weather, though it’s probably the weather that’s to blame. The forecaster mentioned how high the pollen levels are at the moment. 😦
Thank you – it seems churlish to blame the weather after all the cold and wet we’ve had, but I think the pollens have been biding their time and are now hitting with full force – I’ll get used to it.
I’m sure you’re right about the eyes – and you can get some fabulous frames these days…
Wonderful. My favorite photos are the first one and the fourth from the top. They are incredible beautiful.
Thank you – the garden is doing its own thing this year.
You have got lovely flowers in your garden. Just the sight of these flowers can make one feel good about life!
That’s true – the garden really isn’t anything out of the ordinary, but if you look closely, there’s so much beauty to see.
That’s why they say “beauty lies in the eye of the beholder”. Most people are so occupied with themselves that they cannot see the nature’s beauty around them.
My goodenss! What a garden, what roses! I am impressed! They are all so lovely. Hoping your energy levels picked back up.
Back to normal thank you.
